Today our reailty Facebook deals tour continued when we entered the ONOFF store at Kungsgatan in Stockholm to check out how they market their Facebook deals offline in the store. ONOFF is one of the biggest retail stores in Sweden, they are selling Tv, audio, cameras and many other products for B2C. We had a good customer experience with the staff members who greeted us welcome, as we entered the store (Like).
Checklist in-store promotion
We thought it is a good idea to let you know about what we are looking for in the stores in-store promotion (offline marketing).
- First impression (Display window).
- Posters on the wall.
- Roll-ups on the floor.
- Stickers at the the front of the cashier.
- Promotion on the receipt.
ONOFF Facebook deals
The ONOFF store did have a display on the window (displaying the Facebook deal). But in the store there were none offline marketing for this current Facebook deal. They didnt have any stickers or posters on the wall. No roll-up on the floor. The first staff member we talked to didnt knew anything about the Facebook deal.
And the deal for HTC Wildfire was not a shock awe for us, although this was their first deal. ONOFF could at least put the Facebook deal next to the HTC phones (tip of the day). We belive that ONOFF needs to step up ther offline marketing strategy for their Facebook deals.
