Reload your shotgun redistribute your content

You put in a lot of hustle when you create content for your blog so be smart don’t reinvent the wheel; make more wheels. In this post I’m covering step seven in my blogging series; how to blog (step one). In many cases I see people create blog posts who could easily become three posts or more. Be smart and see your blog posts as the start of your content marketing and extend your blog post into different form of content. What I mean is that your blog post can become a slideshare presentation or maybe a YouTube video.

Extend your content into:

  • SlideShare presentations
  • Videos upload them to YouTube or Vimeo
  • Split them into more blog posts
  • Create a video or a podcast interview around your content
  • Use it in your offline marketing
  • Create an ebook or a white-paper
  • Think in pictures and use Flickr
  • You can extend your blog posts into a lecture or a webinar

Your blog can feed your content marketing in many ways. Use your fantasy and have fun! My thing is definitely extending posts into videos. Are you extending your content?
