Being social with a purpose
Being social with a purpose not just being on social media; this means you are listening to what your customers are saying, listening to what customers are asking or complaining about and then get back to them (How to give authentic customer service and not superficial excuses in social media) with answers and solutions.
You also have a huge opportunity to listening what customers are happy about, and then thanking them, and listening to when they are talking with their friends and peers about you, and take the opportunity to rewarding them when it feels right.
The opportunity with social media marketing is building relationships with your customers, and how well you succeed with that will affect how much cash they put into your pockets.
