We got an opportunity to chat with Steve and ask him some questions about e-mail marketing at #eme2011. Steve did a wonderful performance at stage and he delivered his presentation about “Email at the heart of multi-channel” (an award-winning case study) with a lot of humor.
Steve answered two questions about e-mail marketing
1, Is e-mail marketing dead?
- No, it’s evolving! The more people use social media; the more they tend to use E-mail.
2, What is the most important thing to consider when you integrate email marketing into social media?
- Get people interested with social media and earn their trust before you receive their E-mail address. E-mail is the next step in the relationship with your audience.
